Minister for Sports, Steven Linares together with the Minister with responsibility for the Care Agency Samantha Sacramento have sent wishes of best luck to the Gibraltar Special Olympics in advance of the Summer Games, which commence tomorrow.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Gibraltar, we would like to publicly congratulate the Special Olympics Committee, helpers and volunteers for once again organising the Special Olympics Summer Games making them yet another success,” said a Government spokesman.
“It is thanks to their dedication and hard work that these Games have grown from strength to strength throughout the years. We wish all the participating athletes the best of luck. Without them, their sportsmanship, spirit and achievements, the success of these games would not be possible.”
