Special Olympics Gibraltar (SOG) is proud to announce a special exhibition celebrating its 40th anniversary. The free public exhibition will be held in the Gustavo Bacarisas Exhibition Gallery in Casemates Square from Thursday 4th December to Wednesday 10th December 2025, from 9 am to 7 pm.
The exhibition will be officially opened with an invitation-only ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December, attended by athletes, families, volunteers, coaches, supporters, and dignitaries.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a unique retrospective of four decades of sport, friendship, and personal triumph through hundreds of photographs, trophies, medals, and memorabilia showcasing the journeys of SOG athletes, coaches, and teams at local, regional, and international competitions. The display will also highlight the vital role of the Law Enforcement Torch Run – the global fundraising and awareness campaign for Special Olympics – and the unwavering support shown by families and supporters over many years.
