Dear Athletes, family members, volunteers and coaches,
It is that time of the year again that we proudly join to participate in the 28th Special Olympics Gibraltar National Games. I have listed below times and dates so that we do not get it wrong. Also some information which I am sure is going to be helpful as to communication.
Dates of games as follows
Invited teams arrive on Monday 24th June leaving Friday 28th June (Isle of Man and Andorra)
BARBATE will arrive on Tuesday 25th and participate in all events.
ALGECIRAS has been invited to participate in 5 a side football.
Our itinerary for those days as follows

This will be followed by a family BBQ at the Europa Retreat Centre. Please do remember that the BBQ is solely for immediate family of athletes and volunteer. The venue is pretty small and we have an extra team with us this year.
T. Shirt colours this year are as follows

(T. Shirts will be provided by SOG as usual. Coca Cola is once more our main sponsor. Denis Lafferty unfortunately will not be with us as he is away from Gibraltar but we will be well supported by his staff throughout the 3 day event.)
Athletes please be prompt at your sporting venues. At least 15 mins before the event.
Michael Mauro, Volunteers Director has called a volunteers meeting for Thursday 20th at the BoatHouse.
I really do hope that you have a great time at these games and on behalf of all the Directors it really gives us great pleasure putting the whole thing together. ENJOY as we will enjoy watching you in competition.
