Situated at No 1 Grandy Place, Europa, the Special Olympics Gibraltar Sports Complex is a modern, purpose-built multi-sports and community facility opened in 2019. It serves as the primary training home for Special Olympics Gibraltar athletes whilst also being a welcoming and inclusive space for the wider community to enjoy sport, fitness, and social activities.
A Centre for Sport and Fitness
The Complex features a large and flexible indoor sports hall designed to accommodate a wide range of activities, including futsal, basketball, volleyball, netball, bocce, dance sessions, and group fitness activities. The space is regularly used for training, competitions, community events, and inclusive sporting programmes.
Flexible Booking for Community Use
Facilities within the Sports Complex are available for hire by individuals, sports clubs, schools and community organisations.
Whether for regular training sessions, one-off events, birthday parties, or community gatherings, the Complex offers a safe, accessible, and well-equipped venue.
Modern Facilities

Special Olympic Café
Located within the Complex, the Special Olympic Café offers a relaxed and friendly environment serving meals, snacks, desserts and refreshments throughout the day. The café can also be privately hired for birthday parties and small events, making it a popular social hub for visitors, families, and athletes alike.
